Monday June 21 will mark the seventh year celebrating the Allan Slaight Awards recognizing excellence in magic!

The awards celebrate outstanding achievements in magic across five categories, which rising talent and wonder sharing.

Starting next Monday, we will release a name each day per category to introduce each award recipient. Thanks to the incredible generosity of Slaight Family Foundation, the charity that established this program in 2015, these awards also include prizes totalling $50,000—and each recipient will receive an iPad to commemorate the award.

Despite the near-impossible year that was 2020, the magic community found creative and innovative ways to explore, to share and to advance our wonderful art. These awards will recognize a few of the extraordinary individuals who made outstanding contributions to magic.
