The Screening Room

We are delighted with the positive response to our online exhibition, The Magic Palace, which features over two hundred performance clips of magicians performing on Canadian television in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

But, that was just the beginning.

The special search engine that manages the video content for The Magic Palace exhibition will house a wide assortment of magic performances by great practitioners, past and present. All of the content is indexed and searchable by performer, by trick and even by show, in The Screening Room. 

We have just added a series of performances, courtesy of Meir Yedid Magic, of Jerry Andrus and Martin A. Nash - from their video series A Lifetime of Magic and Award Winning Card Magic. (These are performance clips only; those interested in learning how to perform the material can purchase the corresponding sources linked in each video's description.) 

The entire index is searchable by trick and performer using the navigation bar at the top of the page. Choose the performer or trick you would like to see from the drop down menus and click Apply to select those filters. Don’t forget to clear away your old selections before beginning a new search.

New clips will be added on a regular basis and we look forward to sharing them with you. In the meanwhile, please enjoy The Screening Room!
