Happy Canada Day! And what a way to celebrate… today we recognize two recipients for the Allan Slaight Sharing Secrets Award, which comes with a prize of $10,000 from the Slaight Family Foundation—and yes, engraved iPads, to commemorate this momentous occasion, too.
This award celebrates exceptionally creative and innovative work in the study of magic, and this year, the achievement goes to JUAN TAMARIZ for the English version of his magnum opus, The Magic Rainbow. The title is shared with RAFAEL BENATAR for his translation of this pivotal work from Spanish into English.
Discovery the journey of how this collection of writing in Spanish by one of magic’s most colourful and profound thinkers, came to become the English version of a standout sensation in magic literature.
