This award recognizes exceptionally creative and innovative work in the study of magic, and comes with an engraved iPad and a prize of $10,000 from the Slaight Family Foundation. In the past, the achievement has been awarded to Mike Caveney, Richard Kaufman and John Lovick.
This year, we are pleased to expand the category’s vision to include an organization for the first time: the College of Magic.
We extend a very special thank you to the College of Magic, and to Andrew Klazinga for recording their beautiful message from the school.
